In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Gabriel Macht, Hank Azaria and Oliver Platt require joined Ed Zwick’s Love and Other Drugs.

Zwick is directing this stand out for for Fox 2000/New Regency. Current members of the toss include Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal, Judy Greer and Josh Gad.

The script was written by Charles Randolph (The Interpreter). It was adapted from Jamie Reidy’s nonfiction book Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman.

Macht plays a Prozac salesman who is involved romantically with Maggie (Hathaway). She is a fun loving woman with Parkinson’s infirmity. She soon finds herself in a relationship with a Viagra salesman named Jamie (Gyllenhaal).

Azaria resoluteness play a shady doctor and client of Jamie’s. Platt behest be his boss, a pharmaceutical rep desperate to boost Jamie’s sales.
